Goodbye friends!

It’s time. I’ve thought about it and it’s not an easy decision, but yes, it’s time. I am leaving tumblr.

I honestly want to thank all of you guys!
Everyone who has shown interest in my words and my heart.
All of you who have encouraged me.
Each person who has taken the time to get to know me.
Everyone who has shared a bit of your life with me.
Thank you!

You’re all amazing.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time using this blog. It’s been great fun and really exciting to be apart of this tumblr community. I’ll be leaving everything up to see and might even go through and tag everything properly so people can browse my blog easily.

The last 15 day challenge has partially been a bit of a parting gift to all of you, a last moment for me to share my life with you. But as well as that I just want to say this… If there is one thing you remember from the words I have posted on this blog then let it be this;

You are more incredible, more wonderful, more astounding, more phenomenal and more profound than you could ever imagine.

You are truly a work of art.

And Papa God has bigger plans for you than your wildest dreams. It is worth loosing everything to have Him.

Also, I really don’t want to completely loose contact with you so if you want, send me a message and I would be more than happy to give you my email or my facebook so we can still be connected and share our lives together.

Goodbye friends!

Love to hope.

Let’s love and heal broken hearts one by one.

Love them into the peace of the kingdom.

Let’s be a people who hope for the best in the middle of the worst.

Genuine love.
Genuine hope.
Genuine relationship

Don’t try.

Quite a common subject of discussion in Christian groups is ‘being different to the world’. We ask questions like “Do my work colleagues notice a difference in who I am?”, “Can people at college/school tell I’m a Christian?”, “Have my family noticed a difference in how I act since I gave my life to God?”. Maybe this kind of talk sounds familiar.

The problem with this is that if the answer is in any way “no” we take it upon ourselves to work harder, try harder, be more loving, be more ‘christian’, etc. I don’t think that’s what we’re supposed to do. If you want to be noticeably different, I don’t think the answer is to make yourself different, the answer is to be yourself and simply ask God to change you.

There’s no point in ‘trying hard’ and not being myself just to seem different. I want to be changed to the point that when I’m just being myself I am being just like God. Let Him do the work because as far as I’ve tried, it’s impossible to change your own heart.

Stop. Let go. Rest.

Tasty life.

We share so much knowledge. Just look at our theological schools and even our weekly sermons. There’s so much talk about all these things we think that we know.

I would much rather share life. I would rather someone told me about the trials and joys of their last few days/weeks/months/years than the latest thing they ‘learnt’.

Also, remember how the garden had a tree of knowledge and a tree of life in?

Personally I’d prefer to eat only of life. Your choice.

The weird glory?

I think I realised something… it’s those who question the acts of God, the various signs and wonders and odd manifestations who are more interested in God’s works instead of God Himself.

Personal experience tells me those who embrace the crazy/absurd/unexplained things of God are less likely to get hung up on His works. They accept them and just go straight to Him. They don’t get distracted by His ‘things’. They just happily receive them.

If you hear about a manifestation of God’s glory that scares you, confuses you or worries you in any way, this is how you handle it:

Chill out.

God’s face is never far from His hand. Just look up and let Him act in any way He wants. He is bigger than a book.

Just a heads up!!!

I dug around in my vast drafts, deleted all the rubbish, found 4 postable ones and queued them up for tomorrow.

Along with a special announcement!!!

Tomorrow could be a very interesting tumblr day for me!

15 Day Challenge!

To clean up my blog I deleted all the individual entries and they’re now all here!

If you really couldn’t wait to go to heaven, you’d have realised you can be there now.

If you’re living in Jesus name,

there’s no need to pray “In Jesus name!”

Faith is the confident expectation that God will fulfil His word.
